LOUKAS was founded in 1948 by the most qualified welder in south of Europe Loukas K.Kontoyiannis based his first workshop in the square of  Kaniggos a suburb in Athens.

The business was established in no time at all  in the Greek market and was distinguished for the quality, expertise, trading capability, and patent techniques in the shipping and industrial sector.

In 1962 it was transferred to its premises in the suburb Votanikos, Athens.

In 1990, LOUKAS established a new, 1.500m² factory with modern machinery and welding procedures in Piraeus, as a result of the prominent market demands. From that moment on, LOUKAS became globally renowned for the revolutionary techniques that it could  provide.

Finally, in 2009, LOUKAS was moved to a modern complex of 5.000m², based to the Industrial Park of Schisto,  Piraeus, where the digital era of machinery and the experience of 60 years are combined in order to cater for the perpetual progress of our times.

From the beginning until today,  LOUKAS is not only the pioneer of the Greek market, but also, an international force in numerous fields, such as welding, reconditioning, sale of spare parts, fabrication, mechanical repair of marine, and power plant applications.

The goal of LOUKAS is to maintain these highest standards of services, and eventually, to set the pace of the future.
